It can be a very good idea to detoxify your body when you feel a little run down. There are many methods that you can learn and follow, and also there are food supplements that you can take. The best method of course is to eat detox diet foods. These are foods that especially promote a cleansing of the body’s digestive system!

What are some detox diet foods?

Here is a list of detox diet foods that everybody can incorporate in their diet:

*** Garlic. It is considered one of the best detox diet foods because it helps in stimulating the liver to produce detoxification enzymes. It is easy to add garlic to your detox diet foods, just add sliced or cooked garlic to your any of your desired food.

*** Broccoli. The broccoli sprouts are more recommended as one of the best detox diet foods because they are rich in antioxidant that can help you stimulate your digestive tract’s detoxification enzymes.

*** Green tea. Great source of  antioxidants that can wash off toxins and also helps the liver to function well.

*** Mung beans. They are easy to digest and can absorb toxic residue. You can also add other beans such as split yellow and green peas, lentils and adzuki beans.
